The Ohio State University Primary Care Practice-Based Research Network (OSU-PCPBRN) consists of 26 sites (i.e., seven family medicine clinics of the Ohio State University Primary Care Network, including one shared clinic with general internal medicine, four general internal medicine clinics of the Ohio State University Specialty Care Network, five Columbus Neighborhood Health Center clinics; ten Nationwide Children’s Hospital Pediatric Primary Care Centers). This collaborative of clinical networks serves to maximize the diversity, breadth, and depth of the available primary care study populations in Central Ohio and represents the diverse demographics of the region. The OSU-PCPBRN is committed to the performance of high quality practice-based research in order to add to the primary care knowledge base, enhance the delivery of preventive medicine, and positively influence diagnosis and treatment of the health problems of patients, families, and communities. The OSU-PCPBRN is a member of the Agency for Health Research & Quality (AHRQ) PBRN registry.
